Based in Ashford, Kent UK, The Rec is a young, dynamic rock band (keys/guitar/bass/drums) performing both original material and covers with strong melodies and vocals underpinned by a solid backbeat and driven guitarwork.

Influences are many and eclectic including Greta Van Fleet, The Beatles, Marc Bolan & T-Rex, Queen, Focus, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rush, Joe Satriani, Primus, Kate Bush, Led Zeppelin, Oasis to name just a few! The band gig regularly around the Ashford/Dover area receiving fantastic support from local promoters and our local radio station, Radio Ashford 107.1fm by way of regular live studio sessions and airplay.
