The Lucid Dream were formed in Carlisle, Cumbria, in 2008. They first came to the exposure of the general public when ‘I Got The Devil’ was issued on the split 10” single ‘Dead Young Club’ (Dead Young Records), earning favourable comparisons to Suicide and The Jesus and Mary Chain. These comparisons were reaffirmed and broadened when ‘Love In My Veins’ (demo) featured on the Psilocybin Sounds compilation ‘Open Your Mind’, alongside The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
