Biography

Unlike many artists, Phoebe's Green's debut release was not a single, or an EP... it was a full scale album. Determined to make an impact, she chose to release her debut, 2.00AM, through Bandcamp in November, 2016, as an entirely independent release. As reviews and demand grew, she uploaded the album to Spotify, who in turn, rewarded her by play-listing a number of tracks from the record, in 2017. Despite with no major record deal, but a strong, homegrown audience and loyal Twitter following, a sell-out hometown show was made a reality, in May 2017 at Gullivers. Following additional support from Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart on BBC Radio 1, Zane Lowe on Beats1, plus a BBC Introducing live set, Green has most recently performed at Neighbourhood Festival and has recently been announced to support The 1975-championed, Pale Waves, in October. Her second headline show of 2017 will see her showcase favourites from 2.00AM, plus a number of new songs, at AATMA, on November 21st.
