At 22 years old and with over four years in the local music scene, her knowledge and

involvement in what Bristol has to offer is unparalleled; her musical prowess explores a

vast pallet of genres, ranging from bass, electronic, dub, & reggae, subcultures that

have now become unmistakably synonymously with Bristol’s eclectic musical history.

With expression at the footnote of all she does, Marley, who operates creatively under

the moniker Medis, leaves no stone unturned, exploring all boundaries of the creative

sphere. Orienting herself as a vinyl DJ, she’s also founder of CCB Media (Bristol),

formerly known as Dub Cult, an events and community lead collaborative exploring all

corners of progressive ways of thinking & doing. With that in mind, Medis’ creative

expression doesn’t stop at music, she’s an avid and proficient film photographer in all

applications and an earnest vocalist who’s stirred to explore more in what that might

hold. At the heart of all she does is a yearning need to traverse the extremities of

expression through sound and art.

Frequently jumping on the decks & steering the energy of the crowd, Medis has

supported the likes of Addison Groove, Om Unit, RP Boo, as well as finding herself booked by local and national collectives such as Keep Hush, ESO, Psychotherapy Sessions (PTS), & Schwet. A fast reputation that hasn’t gone unnoticed in the local scene, Medis has been snapped up by Bristol-based Saffron Records’ Artist Development project where she’ll find the space and support for professional development working on–alongside other hand-selected artists–a commission with MSCTY, the global leading agency for music & architecture.
