Formed in June 2012, Junction 16 are an Indie/Pop Punk Band from Stoke-on-Trent influenced mainly by Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Bowling For Soup and Two Door Cinema Club. The idea was first created during a conversation between Nathan Cooper and Liam Sproston in 2011, although not much was done until a conversation in early 2012. Things came together, and Nathan McCue was recruited as a drummer. Jack Simpson joined shortly after as our second guitarist. Lauren Battersby was the original singer and helped to write a lot of material, before university commitments meant it was no longer possible to practice and play gigs. Following Laurens departure, Livie McIntyre was added as singer to complete the current line-up.
