Hugh Kelly is an Alt.Blues/Soul singer songwriter, based in Edinburgh but travels throughout UK. After 2 years studying a Law degree at the University of Aberdeen, he decided to pull out of the course in Sept 2015 to concentrate full-time on his music career.

Hugh started his music career busking on the streets of Edinburgh in his teens. He then moved on to playing numerous open mic events in the pubs & clubs of Edinburgh & Aberdeen where he got regular paid slots in both cities by the time he was 18.

Approximately 300 gigs and 3 years later, now just about to turn 21, Hugh has released his debut EP (29 Feb 2016) – getting numerous plays on radio stations throughout UK where he has received many generous comments. He was ‘Artist of the Week’ in the Scotland on Sunday & Scotsman national newspapers (Feb 2016) and was interviewed live on BBC Radio Scotland’s Janice Forsyth Show (Mar 2016) where Janice kindly made one of his tracks, her ‘Single of the Week’.

Look out for Hugh over the summer where he will be appearing at festivals throughout UK. He will be showcasing tracks from his recent EP and you may also hear a track or two from his album due out at the end of the year.
