Biography

Eyebrow are Pete Judge (Get The Blessing) on trumpet and Paul Wigens (ex Blurt, Grand Drive, Blue Aeroplanes) on drums.

Together they play with simplicity, repetition, texture and space, treating minimal as a strength. The music - composition, improvisation, acoustic, organic, evolving electronics. The drums - obsessive, warm, resonant, harsh, metallic . The trumpet - loops melodies floating beauty darkness soundscapes shifting stark orchestral.

"since emerging last summer, this duo have been spellbinding audiences wherever they play. Their combination of deftly-sculptured soundscape trumpet loops and subversively strict rhythms opens up a sonic world of amazing variety thanks to their mutual dexterity and economy of well-framed ideas. One of the freshest and best new jazz acts in town" (Venue, 2010)

"haunting sounds trickle down the spine like dripping stalactites. With just one drummer, one trumpet player and a host of expertly controlled effects boxes, they create a sound that is both gentle and unsettling. This band would be perfect to stumble across at a festival during daybreak, jamming with the dawn chorus" (Morning Star) Read more on Last.fm.
