...From playing his first ever gig at the legendary Blue Monkey in Sunderland, over 20 years ago, DJ eXcel has become one of the music scene's True Legends.

Self-taught from the age of just 16, his popularity soon grew and the passion and love for the music he not only played but produced, was heard every time he performed.

From the beginning of his journey in the North East of England, it wouldn't be long before he would be performing in Ibiza... and he did!!

In 1994, DJ eXcel appeared at E.D.E.N on The Prodigy Summer Tour... that same year he also playing at Mayday in Germany for some 40,000 people. Paul returned to the Party Island of Ibiza again in 1998 to play at Amnesia and once again produced an outstanding set. The DJ'ing was not the only talent Paul eXcelled at... Paul's need to please the crowd is evident and never plays a pre-planned 'set'.. he will soak up the atmosphere, feel the energy from the people and play!
