Biography

Dead Man Fall formed in summer 2012 and by 2014 they became the first unsigned Scottish band to score a number 1 on U.S iTunes.

After an unsuccessful U.S Visa attempt prevented them from appearing on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in Los Angeles (due to them being relatively unknown) they went on to gain recognition across the globe after their 3rd single 'Bang Your Drum' was used on the chat show host's final show with a multitude of A-List celebrities such as Quentin Tarantino, Matthew McConaughey, Samuel L Jackson and Desmond Tutu lip syncing in a video homage to the bands original video. Bang Your Drum reached Number 1 on both the American iTunes Rock Chart and Amazon Download Charts, Number 2 in Canada and Number 24 in the UK rock chart. DMF went on to see their songs played on radio throughout America and were also tipped as a breakthrough act by New York's influential WFUV.

Since then the band have released brilliant singles in Suwarrow, Beating Heart and the pounding Calexico. The latter being accompanied by a stunning fluorescent Day of the Dead inspired video which had over 20,000 plays in two days on Facebook.

Dead Man Fall have also played live sessions on BBC Radio Scotland and STV, toured in the UK, sold out Glasgow’s famous King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in a matter of weeks and were selected to be one of the 16 unsigned acts to perform on the iconic Tbreak stage at Scotland’s biggest music festival, T in the Park with band managing to pull one of the tent’s biggest crowds of the day despite being up against headline acts Kasabian, Sam Smith and Fatboy Slim.

The band is set to release new music in early 2017 and is planning a short tour of the north east United States; culminating in a performance at the Firefly festival in Delaware, where they will be performing on the same bill as bands such as The Weeknd, Muse, and the legendary Bob Dylan.
