Biography

Criminal Mind formed as a four piece punk band in September 2008 on the outskirts of Bristol (UK). Inspired by bands such as The Clash, Dropkick Murphy’s & The Ruts, Criminal Mind deliver an original street punk sound. With Radio airplay from Mike Davies BBC Radio 1 presented as “young upstarts” and have also been given great reviews labelled as “the best unsigned punk band around” from Room Thirteen’s Jim Ody. Later the bands first release received a great response from Big Cheese Magazine saying “Sterling first full-length album from Bristol street punks. This album could well be a stepping stone to greater things.” 3/5. Criminal Mind have also played alongside of some big names in the punk scene such as Sham 69, Street Dogs & Cockney Rejects to name a few. The band have also held a few touring dates in 2009 in The Czech Republic & Belgium. Having Just completed the long awaited ‘Debut Album’; Criminal Mind’s four-year wait for a full album release has ended with the help of Death Or Glory Promotions. The bands street punk release will be available from June 2012. The Band have started work on new songs, hoping to start recording July 2012, in the bands opinion…the sound has progressed and our musical ability in performing and song-writing has grown, we can’t wait for you to hear them.
