Based in Southampton, Cassava consisting of Liam Cole, Jared Plumb and Torrin Rees, formed in 2016 as friends and quickly developed into the band to beat in their local scene.

After a string of Sold Out Shows in Southampton Cassava have also been “The support band of choice for visiting bands” such as DMA’s, Milburn, The Big Moon, Spring King & The View.

With only a few releases under their belts, the Cassava lads have already established a firm fan base. With backing from Fred Perry Subculture and positive write-ups from Gigslutz branding them “manic indie guitars and anthemic vocals.”

Working with Gavin Monaghan (The Sherlocks, The Editors & The Twang) in the studio, Cassava have spent the last few months recording original material.
