Brian Brainstorm from Cologne, Germany is a 28 year old Drum & Bass- producer / DJ with releases on labels like Bassliebe, Phantom Dub Digital, Hooverbass and Roll The Drums, supported by international artists and radio stations like Logan D, Kenny Ken, Fineprint, Kool London Radio, DJ Premium, Downlink, Carbon, Ricky Tuff, Shrust, Dub Berzerker and many more.

He started producing in 2009 and first made a good impression on the bassmusic scene with a wide range of different styles on 105, 140 and 175 beats per minute. His productions hit the Beatport charts in 2010 and got played by some big artists like Paul van Dyk for example.

But his increasing fascination for Underground Drum & Bass and a lot of positive experiences with live gigs in the local area caused his decision to focus only on this genre. His tunes became more ravey and powerful and he developed his own style – always dancefloor-oriented with hard smashing drums, a dirty crunched Jump Up bassline or a deep Jungle sub, smartly arranged with an interesting arc of suspense.

In 2012 he got signed on the biggest german labels for Jump Up DnB, Phantom Dub Digital and Hooverbass Records and a year later his first UK-release on Roll The Drums Recordings caused a huge wave of DJ support by some of the biggest selectors in the scene.
