A year is a long time in music. 18 months is a lifetime. When BLESS. took to the stage at Nambucca in May 2022 supporting Frank Turner, the collective sentiment within the band was that this would be the last time that their Rock’n’Soul ska-circus would be on stage - but life is unpredictable. Brexit and Covid-19 derailed the band’s momentum after touring Europe throughout 2015-2019, then events outside of the band’s control conspired to bring them back together.

A burning resentment that they’d never finished their debut album provided the fuel to ignite the fire and 2023 began with a pact to head back in the studio to complete their unfinished business.

Their three previous releases to date came out to high praise - with their track Daddy Didn’t Make It as A Rockstar being described in the Glastonbury Festival programme as "a classic of our time", and second and third singles Easy Lover and Loser being premiered by John Kennedy on Radio X who described them as “epic” after catching them at The Roundhouse.

August 2023 saw a triumphant return to the stage at Lakefest and the lads are now preparing to head into Autumn with dates supporting The Rifles, opening the Main Stage at Shiiine On Festival and their debut This Feeling show - a homecoming at London's Water Rats
