very good time, first time iv been back to talltrees for retro in about 2.5 years. Not as good as it used to be but still a great night

Fantastic as usual, love tall trees love Retro, vip was unreal, not too busy at all in the club which was better. Got myself on an internet t.v channel because of my tattoo i have of RETRO. Definitely the place to be if you love your classics.

Very cool night. Thought the drinks were rubbish not much to choose from. Anyway loved everyone coming up to me and asking to have there pic taken with me and saying great night mate. They thought I was Paul Taylor lol Am cool with that been a DJ for 14 years but have not done so for the last 7 years it was really nice hearing my collection been played lol It makes me want to go and do it all over again ( Maybe I Will) You may see me you may not.

Phreek at tall trees

I havn\'t been to tall trees for years! Why didn\'t they open the big room. The main room had tables in set up for dinner nights. Come on! there was no dj guide with times and rooms on so you had to guess. The corridor back rooms were freezing and no one in them cos they didn\'t know they where there. Tall trees used to be the main club. Not anymore! I took my boyfriend who is from Liverpool and he said it was a shithole literally the male tiolets falling apart. On a plus side, Tino, Papa V and Steve Sutherland made our night.

I agree the bar service was terrible and prices were not good.
However that aside All the Djs Turned up Todd Terry Was Great and the highlight of the night was Davey Jones set and the Bizarre breadance room was awesome....we need more musically diverse events like PHREEK

Havnt been to tall trees for years and was really looking forward to this night but i was soon to be very dissapointed with the whole affair god what a shit whole what has happened to tall trees its the worst club i have ever been to and i have been to some shit clubs .the biggest upset was that the large club area wasnt open ,getting served shorts in pint glasses ,no ice ,slow bar staff who didnt have a clue ,RIP TALL TREES I WONT BE BACK

I was sadly disappointed with the Tall Trees event apart from the late start, the initial music by Bernie Inn had us all up dancing, but once Brutus arrived we waited and waited for some 70s music for dancing after waiting over an hour gave up and left. So wouldn't recommend or go again, will just have to remember the good old Millenium days when he was fab!

I have seen Brutus Golds Love Train many times in the past,it was always a professional, polished performance in Millenium and Empire so why they chose to have the reunion in the macmillans suit at Tall Trees I don't know. The venue was all wrong,the hotel was not prepared for the show.no draught cider or staff,no music at all playing in the bar where we had to wait as the show was an hour late in starting,and my husband and I were left feeling let down. I know things are never the same when you go back but I had expected more from whole experience. I would however go again to a different venue if the opportunity arose as mentioned.

Class nite, music megga, 3 hour drive but well worth it and got free tickets for the New Years Day bash, will defo be there, although lass's kept throwing drinks at us whilst we dances my advise go get some lessons,u 2 can dance like us instead of being jealous cows...

i had an amzing night altho was disappointed with Ben - Pauls son....but as per Paul took the crown. i'm slightly older than the majority that goes and find it amazing that they all appreciate the music the way i do...would do anything to back to the olden days and RETRO does that for me. quality night. they're vodka is rotten tho!!!!

THIS EVENT WAS EXCELLENT AND THE VENUE WAS JUST SHORT OF AMAZING, BUT MISSED THE STILT WALKERS AND OTHER HUMAN ARTISTS WITH MANY SKILLS. THE PRICE IS EXCELLENT FOR THE HUGE SPECTICAL THAT IS RETRO, ITS MUSIC, DANCE AND VISUALS MARRIED TOGETHER IN PERFECT HARMONY. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AS ALWAYS, HOWEVER I WOULD PREFER ALL THE GUYS TO KEEP THERE TOPS ON (come on boys lets not lower the tone, plz keep the sweat to yourselves its not always good to share. lol). I RECOMMEND RETRO TO EVERYONE I TALK TO AND TRY TO TAKE AT LEAST ONE PERSON WHOS NEVER BEEN BEFORE WITH ME TO RETRO. JAYNE ANGEL WAS AWESOME SHE PLAYED SOME BELTERS, PAUL WAS RELIABLY EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS AND ITS FAB TO WATCH THE TICKET TAPE, LAZERS, ICE CANNONS ECT THAT ADD TO THE PT SET. IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO RETRO YOU REALLY SHOULD GO ON KISS THE BADGE AND LIVE THE DANCE FLOOR DREAM. CARNT WAIT FOR O2 AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY.

Very well run event. Will be coming back. Just one recommendation is that I would to like to of seen a rough guide to times Dj's were due to be on. The venue was great, and so were all the other DJ's, but eddie was a total letdown. When he did kick a tune in it was bangin, but all that build-up for 3-4 minutes left us all standing around waiting and waiting. Will defo be back, but not if eddie is there!

great music from the dj's definatly recommend it, the last time i was there was about 8 years ago it has changed a bit, loads of meat heads there, it was hard to tell who was door staff and who wasnt haha, but had a good night, a little pricy for the drinks though, i must say though i was absolutly freezing from 2am me and my friend just huddled together to keep warm!
