Bit crap by anyones standards. If they had advertised it as a midnight set for 40 mins fair enough....they were great musically and one or two of the DJs were surprisingly good. unfortunately group of Faithless fans left feeling conned.

Tickets and advertising said 9pm start. We were kept stood outside in increasingly cold weather until 9.30ish. @45 minutes. I had expected the club to be over warm, so wore no coat....I froze. I have a medical condition that is exacerbated by cold. Not a good start. Inside, the floor was FILTHY and we had been on of the first in.Did they not clean it? Scraps of rubbish about, floor so sticky my shoes kept pulling off, the carpet was atrocious, just as sticky and slimy and covered in chewing gum???????? Selection of drinks was appaling - spirits were served in plactic cups, but draught beer not????? 500ml bottle of water....£2.00. I was designated driver...not able to drink the over priced alcohol...so not a good start to getting in the mood. Inside the main room...the raised flooring and floor level changes were a death trap waiting to happen. Coupled with bad/dark lighting and alcohol......it is a wonder they pass health and safety!? Toilet signposting is non-existent unless you stand under the sign outside the door. Smoking ban inside premises???Where??? The external passage all around the venue is a smoking area...and the ladies loo is off this corridor. I am a non-smoker and I also have asthma.....coupled with this blanket of smoke when I needed the loo; and the dry ice smoke....permeating the whole venue...not a very good experience. Does this mean that Tall Trees, Yarm do not give a fig about being Disabled Accessible? Am I not meant to want to go out and enjoy a great night of music from a fantastic musician????????? just because I am disabled? As a last aside, the venue is on 3 levels and I accept that the main floor was disabled accessible...but to use the VIP area or second room the stairs were almost impossible to negotiate. This would curtail enjoyment greatly, not to be able to experience the whole venue. They do not have lifts as I witnessed a portly gentleman having to climb up to the VIP area after falling heavily up the raised flooring right at my feet.

The floors are disgusting, so sticky it was like walking through a muddy field. The music the dj's played was poor. Sounded like 1 song all night & not really keeping with the style of Faithless. Faithless themselves were quite good although the sound quality was poor. Couldn't enjoy it though as I seemed to be in the spot where everyone else wanted to be. I spent half their set stopping people from pushing past. By the end of the set I'd had enough & went outside. I can't be sure but it seemed to be filled over capacity & too many people who couldn't move leads to people getting pissed off & kills any atmosphere. It took nearly half an hour to get served & they only had a selection of 4 drinks (not including spirits) Overall it was a very poor night. The club was filthy, the music garbage, over filled, poor drink selection & in some places literally no lighting. It's a shame as the venue used to be one of the best in the land & I've had some great nights there in the past. But I won't be going again & I won't be recommending it to anyone else.

There was no indication that it would be so ridiculously short. Just when you were really getting into they were gone. They could have continued with Faithless being dj'd but no, and the other dj's were mediocre. This wasn't the kind of crowd you would expect, loads of slappers in six inch heels and skirts that barely covered their ****s, unable to dance and wobbling around pissed, puking and falling over. Plenty of lads pushing people out of the way. Most people were fine but there were too many aggressive yobs. It was way over crowded with dark, dingy places asking for accidents. I had a completely out of it girl fall off the stairs over the side rail and land on my head. Astounding. I am amazed she didn't kill herself or me. She flop landed she was so gone out but still managed when picked up to dust herself down and wobble off without a word. I have a very sore neck and shoulder and a cracking giant bruise on the back or my knee. There were loads of badly lit steps and other areas and falls were ten a penny. The whole corridor outside was a smoking area even though not actually outside. Everybody crowded dangerously in doorways and on stairs. The floors were nothing short of disgusting, sticky and covered in beer and ***** pop bottles. There was barely choice of alcohol and very expensive - 3.50 for a bottle. No draught beer and they ran out of ***** pop and were left with two bottled beers? Queues for the bar were unprofessionally managed by girls who had no concept of serving who was there first leaving people waiting for ages. No cigarettes for sale so people were constantly begging smokers outside for cigarettes. The toilets were disgusting, the floors sodden, the cleaners tried but couldn't managed and refused entry at one point to a massive queue waiting. Mind you, the girls were puking and shoving giant wads of toilet paper down the toilets. All in all badly managed, overcrowded, badly lit, dangerous, expensive with a dodgy crowd and we only got 40 minutes. Won't be going there again.

I have been visiting club m for the last 8 years for the retro nights and i was really looking forward to this and i was so annoyed, club m have promised big dj acts this year, well i'm afraid i'll defitanly not be going back, i feel sorry for all those faithless follower's who went last night. I think i'll save my money next time and maybe listen to girls aloud on the radio.

Not impressed! Was so glad we paid for VIP and spent all the night in there from then on as the service was great as to was the atmosphere. To try and go to the toilet was a major task from badly lit stairs and steps to very messy people trying to que. Overall had a great night.

mrB2010 Wannabe Offline Points:52 Posts: 2	faithless Overall rating: 4 overall i had a blast 30 of us loons from york all went by coach and had a right giggle. was a bit dissapointed with the length of time faithless spent on the decks and they were definately not on top form. the resident djs were not 2 clever either but the atmosphere in the club definately made up for it. iv noticed people have been complaining about the condition of the venue it was not that bad i mean what do u expect when you put a few thousand people in 1 place. things get messy. and for the people complaining about the women there i loved it there was wall to wall birds in there was constantly picking my jaw up off the floor. and everyone moaning about drink costs if they have ever been to trees they would know the prices theve been the same for ages. get ya hand in ya pockets ya tight wods ya cant take it with ya so spent it getting trashed thats my motto. ill definately be returning to trees even if its just for the ladys lol take it easy peeps mr B !!!!!!!

Initially we had paid for VIP and skiddle rep didnt even bother to check tivket and spent the next 20 minutes trying to locate what paying the extra actually got me as i was wading through the first room bar. Managed to eventually get my wrist band... whoop whoop she says. Absolutely huge club, but i little desapointed at just how many of those attending felt they needed something recreational to enjoy. Thought the resident Dj did a fine job despite the fact he wasn't really in keeping with the Faithless performance. Faithless, well what can i say a little miffed that to be honest they were staying in what appeared to be a coach on site or the hotel yet only 40 mins were assigned to him. I've heard this year will be his last on tour?? If thats the case surely he should have been aloud to shine with a normal sized crowd rather than an over site audience. Yes thanks glastonbury and global gathering, as after Club M - he was announced at both. hummm sus i think. Over all i thought the Club was average, ideal for the occasion yet a little over crowded. May be greed got the better of the the owner.!!! Drinks to be fair i thought were on average but made up i paid the extra for VIP as i didnt have to fight my way to get a drink. Thought main dance floor was absolutely disgusting and may be you should implament a no drinks on the floor policy! Over all though despite my objections it was nice to spend some Q time with the other half in TALL TREES hotel and felt it was worth the 6 hour return journey to see one of his idels. x

Tall Trees should maybe have secured a big DJ to compliment Faithless which would have made the short set more acceptable. Still had a good night though.

The DJ's what where they playing, why oh why did they not warm the audience with a few selected tracks. The remainder of the night was one track played over and over again . Drink prices were fair,toilets needed rubber boots though the staff tried very hard to keep them clean,full marks to the staff for keeping the venue tidy,too many in the venue to please everyone.

Had a grand night, the atmosphere was excellent and was one of the friendliest venues I have ever been to. But the only let down was the music, in fact Yousef was so poor that I actually left the club an hour early and went back to the hotel and Iam usually the last off the dancefloor, however Iam really looking forward to going back in next couple of months.

The set time could have been longer (only played 40 minutes) and the sound quality seemed really poor! I think someone forgot to turn Maxi Jazz' mike up! That coupled with being packed in like sardines didnt make for a very comfortable experience. We still had a good night so cant really complain :o)
