Glastonbudget, the Mecca of Tribute, is now in its 7th year and saw more than 5,000 fans cram-in to see more that 130 amazing bands play 6 stages in May 2010. This years extravaganza of Europes best tribute bands and New Acts will be even better.

This year will see Oasish, Antarctic Monkeys, The Hot Red Chili Peppers, Guns 2 Roses & Kins of Leon plus many many more tributes to all your favourite bands!

Glastonbudget Music Festival 2011 takes place at Turnpost Farm in Wymeswold, Leicestershire on May 27th, 28th and 29th, 2011.

Now into its seventh year, Glastonbudget, as the name suggests, is a budget weekend music festival not to be missed in Leicestershire, that rivals any of the bigger festivals in true tribute style yes Tribute style meaning tribute bands.

It all started in 2005, when we gathered 18 of the top tribute bands from around Europe and put together one hell of a weekend. Since then it has grown and grown and is now the biggest and best tribute and new music festival in Europe. This year we are hoping it will be even bigger still.

This year includes over 150 new acts from not only the UK but around the world. And a wide range of alternative entertainment. All in all it makes for a cracking weekend!

From the the burgers to the bands everything will be tip top!

Many people have commented on how well it is organised, how much of a friendly, community atmosphere is created and how near total strangers became part of the most friendly music loving festival that people had ever witnessed.

One of the biggest things for us is to make sure that we are rip-off free i.e. tickets, beer, food plus the availability of services i.e. queues to toilets, foodstalls.

Dont just take our word for it!

Thats the difference between GB and other mainstream festivals; its not about extracting as much money as possible from the paying public. But giving them an event to remember and in this current climate, value for money. The festival is about the provision of entertainment and fun for everyone. Paul Mitchell, Loughborough Echo

What a weekend 09 was, this was our first visit and what can we say you all dont know already. We had not ever heard of Glastonbudget, and only found it by chance the Monday before the event. All we can say is we are now hooked, we have driven our friends in to a frenzy ready for next year. Mark and Bev - Gt Yarmouth

So onwards to GB 11! And we hope to see you there on 27th, 28th and 29th May!!
