Mersey stars The Christians were prime movers in the soul scene that emerged out of England's North West at the end of the 80s. Along with other iconic bands they brought a slicker, sophisticated, soul-flecked sound to the charts at the end of that heady decade. Now THE CHRISTIANS are back with frontman Garry Christian still sporting the Raybans and that incredibly rich and sultry voice. His band now consists of the accomplished musicians Joey Ankrah, Neil Griffiths, Lionel Duke and Cliff Watson. A new album is due in the spring so expect some songs from that plus the hits including Harvest For The World, Words, Born Again, Hooverville, Forgotten Town and, of course, the massive Ideal World.
