Also making an appearance on Best of British Night are the Band of the Irish Guards*, who with their red jackets, drums and pipes, symbolize all that is great about Britain .  Formed in 1900 this world famous band has travelled the length and breadth of the globe providing musical support to troops on active service. The grand finale on the night will be a firework spectacular above the course, that will leave racegoers will a sense of pride and jubilation.

Gates open at 5pm, the first race is at 6.20 and bars throughout the Grandstand stay open until 11pm.  Leave the car at home and travel to Kempton Park by train.  Trains run from Waterloo and Clapham Junction every half an hour with the last train returning from Kempton back to central London at 11:18pm.
