Duke live beatbox with Jack Wallen acoustic set

OFFICIAL at The Office, Truro has done it again - a line up that is like none other seen in any other live venue in the South West. The night is all about creating a venue that shows some great live acts for everyone to enjoy and this instalment will not be a disappointment.

Thanks to sponsors JACK DANIELS, LittleSouth & Frixon Sports shop the event is taking a turn down the beatbox lane with a return performance from DUKE, one of the UKs if not the worlds biggest live beatbox acts and a live acoustic set from Cornwalls own JACK WALLEN.

Jack has blown up in the live music scene over the last couple of years with a huge support performance for JAMES MORRISON at The Hall for Cornwall. In January of this year he was invited to the BBC introducing Musicians Masterclass at Abbey Road and Maida Vale studios in London.

He states his inspirations as Billy Joel with the blues influence of Tom Waits, a modern Jason Mraz spin and the growl of Ray Lamontagne all over a Pear Rattler & a pouch of baccy!

DUKE need to be seen to be believed - Their fusion of live vocals, beat-boxing, vocal percussion/basslines, harmonies and guitar is totally unique so much so that PRINCE personally requested that DUKE support him on his UK tour at the 02 in London. But thats not it these extremely talented lads have also supported the likes of AMY WINEHOUSE. THE FEELING, WRETCH 32 & DJ FRESH, they might of even made a cheeky cameo at BARACK OBAMAs inauguration, prepare to be slack jawed throughout this insane set.

The event takes place on Friday 6th July at The Office Nightclub with doors opening at 9pm. Over 16s welcome however ID is required (any under 18s who appear to be under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted entrance).
