Lineup and details for Holifair 2011. on Friday 5th August 2011
The Holifair is now in its 5th year and gets more popular every time. It is set on the 32 acre Holifield farm; which is also a day care centre for people with special needs. Holifair has a main stage, Marquee stage, DJ area and acoustic area for plenty of jiving to your musical tipple- which at Holifair ranges from folk, gypsy, punk, jazz and reggae all the way to dance. Also expect to be entertained by festival treats such as flamenco workshops, zumba workshops, samba instrument making and playing, green wood work, cabaret, cinema, delicious food, wellbeing area, and kids zone with storytelling and playing. (even more to be confirmed)
The festival is run on green energy from solar panels, biodiesel and wind and has stalls from local community groups...it is a fundraising event for the special needs day care centre here at the farm. Hope to see you at the Holifair 2011 (5th, 6th, 7th of August)!!
