Beginner Salsa Workshop

Workshop teaching the basic skills and techniques essential to salsa and which are needed in order to form and maintain a strong foundation for this dance style. It will enable dancers to progress smoothly and with confidence to other levels. Ideal for those who wish to learn to dance salsa more quickly, who have missed out on some basic skills or to simply consolidate and improve on their current skill base. This class is also used by experienced dancers to refresh their technique(s).

Note that this is club style salsa, not ballroom or TV show salsa!

Drop in class - pay as you go, first class half price. No partner needed as students rotate but please bring one if you can as this helps with gender balancing. Please come 15 mins early on the first session only for enrolement purposes. Bring water as there is no bar and you will need it!

Development classes are available when dancers are ready and you will be kept imformed about these. Regular Friday late night salsa parties with DJ & guest teacher(s) are held in a local night club venue.
