Taunton Deane Borough Council are responsible for issuing Temporay Events Notices covering this venue and neither Taunton Deane Borough Council or Somerset County Council operate an on line facility for a Temporay Events Notice. No advice is given to pay online and the TDBC portal simply provides dowloadable forms and addresses to send the completed documents. The above statement by Ms Daly is wholly inacurate. Ms daly, if you must embark on booking hardworking artists and wasting the time of paying festival goers, please have the profesionalism to ensure that you are familiar with the law and its requirements. The fact you have attempted to blame others foe your short comings is quite appalling. I would urge any festivalgoer or artist to treat any future events you may hold with great caution and skiddle.com should review your business with them. Finally your discription of the venue leaves a lot to be desired. |

whishes to say a really BIG SORRY to all concered
here is my letter of complate to the South Somerset County Councel
I have just had to cancelled a Charity Event due to your website not working correctly
I made an online Temporary Events Notice application on the 3rd August 30 days before the event .
Knowing that i needed 10 working days i tried to do an online payment like the website tells me ,
I tried to do this 3 times before the 19th of which i understood needed to be in by .
After the 3 time on the last day i decided to make payment by Telephone , only to be told while we have your application it is not valied until payment is recived and it has to be a full 10 clear working days not 10 including the served day
this has just cost us some £350+ in cancellation and ticket booking charge
how does this effect any form of compencation that may be due
