Blue Cat is a unique and intimate venue based in Heaton Moor, just outside Manchester. Both touring and local bands regularly stop off at the Cat including many international artists coming from as far a field as Australia, Boston, New York, Chicago, Germany and Norway. Memorable highlights from recent times include Electric Six, Johnny Marr, Haven, Curtis Eller and Viva Stereo. If you are interested in playing at the Blue Cat please send us a demo in the first instance. We are a also a popular venue for CD launch parties. We look forward to some paw-slappingly good times with you! Come on down! The Blue Cat Cafe is in easy reach of central Manchester or Stockport. By car, follow the A6 (main Stockport Rd) from Manchester and turn right onto Heaton Moor Rd (B5169) For Shaw Rd turn left from Heaton Moor Rd after you pass a parade of shops and bars. The nearest train station is HEATON CHAPEL (two stops from Manchester Piccadilly and then a 10 min walk from the Blue Cat)
