Arenal Sound Festival returns to the Arenal Beach in Burriana for 2011. Launched in 2010, Arenal Sound is the most exciting new addition to the European festival calendar. 2010 attracted over 100,000 revelers to the sands of the Arenal beach, for four days of the best pop-rock, indie, electronic music and countless beach activities.

The scene will be set for an amazing experience with music 24 hours a day and water activities including sailing, catamarans, jet skis, parasailing, kite surfing and scuba diving alongside beach volleyball and football tournaments all available on the festival site.

The extensive camping area, conveniently located by the sea, will be open to the public from 29 July to 8 August. Those buying the 10 day camping ticket will be able to enjoy beach activities and numerous parties, including the popular opening and closing parties.

By Air:
The closest airport is Valencia 45 minutes, followed by Barcelona Reus 90 minutes, and Alicante 90 minutes.
Gatwick, Stansted, Bristol and East Midlands all operate daily flights to Valencia.

By Road:
Last year there were a number of people who decided to make their summer holiday a European road trip that included Arenal Festival in their travels, either as the main destination or as one stop on a circuit around Europe.

There are a number of different routes you can take across Europe to make your journey interesting get on Google and look at the options Paris, Andorra and Barcelona and several other cities that can all can easily be made part of your route.

So, if you plan on driving, drive a full vehicle. Set up a group on facebook and find out whether your friends fancy the road trip it will be an experience you wont forget.
