Succesful South coast brand FiLtH return to Junk bringing with them young tech house superemo Jon Gurd.

Jon Gurd is no stranger to Junk having played alongside residents Luka Pilato and Simon Hassett earlier this year so will be more than suited to rock the dance floor. With numerous strings to his musical bow and already boasting his own record label, radio show, world-class productions and DJ appearances flanking many of the DJ greats, it is evident that, at the age of just 24, Jon Gurd is already becoming a highly respected artist.

Collaborating in 2006 with Dave Robertson he created “The Rendition” which truly announced the pairs arrival on to the scene. Extensive plays on Radio 1 from Pete Tong and Fergie were followed by major support from Lee Burridge, Sander Kleinenberg and D.Ramirez, whilst Carl Cox, Steve Lawler and Nic Fanciulli included the track in their Summer Essential Mixes. Eventually released on CR2, the track became one of the label’s biggest releases to date, and one of 2006’s most successful songs.
