Bang Bang & Raygun Youth collaborate once more as they team up to bring you another bass feast to see the month off in the loudest way possible.
After Roni Size smashed the Junk sound system to pieces with his unique style, we bring you a double headliner featuring two heavyweights in their respective genres.
We are mixing things up good and proper as we bring you drum and bass hero DJ FRESH and dubstep’s COKI as well as our finely tuned residents team who shall all be bringing their own unique and subversive styles to the table.
Expect a huge night filled with more sub-bass than you can shake a rather large stick at!
Drum & Bass mastermind DJ Fresh is part owner of Breakbeat Kaos and a prolific UK drum and bass producer. In 2009 Knowledge Magazine said ‘Perhaps DJ Fresh has been the biggest influence on drum and bass we’ve ever known’. One of the principal members of Bad Company, along with the three other members of Bad Company, he founded a record label, BC Recordings, as well as the website Dogs On Acid.
Seen as a key leader in the D&B field FRESH Fresh has worked with artists ranging from Pet Shop Boys, DJ Shadow, Apollo 440 to Andy C, Grooverider.
Fresh has had his own tracks included on a number of commercially-released mix CDs including the 2006 release "Jungle Sound: The Bassline Strikes Back!", Andy C's "Nightlife" series, DJ Hype's "Drum and Bass Warfare", and Goldie's "Drum and Bass Classics".
COKI is leading dubstep dj/producer, one-half of Digital Mystikz and co-founder of the DMZ record label and club night.
Having closely working with Benga, They released the cross-over anthem “Night” in early 2008, followed by his second album, Diary of an Afro Warrior, both on Tempa. Resident Advisor described it as “one of the most anticipated LPs in dubstep yet.”
