Charity Rock Show by Solihull’s very own School Of Rock!

Budding musicians will be rocking the night away at a Charity Rock Show on Saturday 6^th September 2008. It will be an unforgettable night of music, with 20 aspiring young musicians performing rock anthems at Tudor Grange School in Solihull.  The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £5 on the door or £4 in advance.

Area franchisees Sharon Hughes and Gemma Lawler said “It’s going to be a fantastic evening, with so many young people getting the chance to test out the skills that they’ve been learning in their weekly lessons, in a real rock band setting.  Rock classics old and new will be played by music students on guitar, bass, drums and  keyboards, many of whom will be on stage for the very first time”.

Clive Brooks,  founder of the Clive’s Easylearn Rock and Pop Schools franchise network, said. “The whole idea of the concept is to make music easy and fun, and empower people to be able play and perform. The Charity Rock Show will be a real celebration of local talent, and will also raise money for a worthwhile charity, with all proceeds going to Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust”.

Clive’s Easylearn Pop Music School meets every Saturday morning at Mill Lodge School and Saturday afternoon at Tudor Grange School with lessons for everyone aged 7 and over.  Evening lessons and specific adult lessons will be available at 2 new schools which are opening in September at Dickens Heath School and Valley Infant School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  A free taster session is available at all of the music schools so you can see for yourself how easy and fun the lessons can be.  The schools offer a unique brand of simplified rock and pop music training in guitar, bass, drums and keyboards, and each lesson includes a jam session so you can rock along with your friends in a real band environment every week.
