Guy Davis is an artist, composer and musician who gives it his all. His ‘all’ is the Blues. His influences include Blind Willie McTell, Skip James, Manse Lipscomb, Mississippi John Hurt, Elizabeth Cotton, and Buddy Guy among others.
This multi award winning and acclaimed artist has dedicated his career to reviving the traditions of acoustic blues and bringing them to as many ears as possible and in doing so has an impressive fanbase that includes Maya Angelou and Jessica Lange to name a few has. Guy Davis is an authentic and spell-binding bluesman, with an incredible voice and a great sense of humour.
