BazlandTraffi c Newbie Offline Points:40 Posts: 2	Jimmy Van M at Traffic in Shrewsbury 03/12/11 Overall rating: 5 Deep in the heart of a mostly rural Shropshire there is a pulsating light of musical energy that grows bright every month and shines aural satisfaction on those that bathe in it! This beacon of underground house and techno is called traffic, a small but assured promotion run by dedicated individuals for the love of good music and not financial gain. After 6 years of providing the areas only regular output of cutting edge electronic beats something amazing happened...... Its 9pm on a cold and quiet Shrewsbury Town street and the traffic sound system leaps into action once again with resident and founder James Taylor delivering his first slice of deepdown futurism. The volume is polite but assured at first and slowly builds alongside the anticipation into a moody and dark rumbling soundscape. Resident Will Purcell is also on hand to weave in his tech fueled progressions and by the time the missing component Bazland returns from the airport with Bedrock and Balance master Jimmy Van M the dancefloor is positively charged and at fever pitch. Its not long before the American born but longtime European resident settles in and takes control of the musical output. A couple of tunes to bed himself in and then it starts, layer upon layer of sounds create a tangible depth in which the vocal crowd immerse themselves. Jimmy begins to feed off the electrical energy , plucking it from the dancefloor and relaying studio fresh fully charged cuts of techno fused house to eager ears. The whole venue is now throbbing in unison and a look into people eyes tells the story that history is being made! And then with what seemed like little warning, the music slowly dissipates, the led lights are no longer flashing and all that can be heard is the masses screaming for more, but the journey has now ended! Until next month of course............... World class dj's, futuristic music and next level production in the shire, that will be traffic!
