Mary has been propelled into the limelight after several years fine-tuning her exquisitely fragile vocals and incisive song-writing. Her fascination with folks forgotten songs takes the dark tales of history and creates arrangements that make them shine in a ravishing new light.
Her debut album My Mothers Children received unanimous praise, making Mojos top ten folk albums of the year.

Also on the bill, is well known Sheffield favorite's The Big Eyes Family Players. Playing a blend of experimental chamber folk-pop music its been a while since we ve had them on, but if last time was anything to go on then it is a must see.
With release collaborating with folk such as James Yorkston, members of A Hawk and A Hacksaw, Rachel's and more, on a variety of high profile labels, 'TBEFP' have been pushing forward original and inspiring sounds for a decade or so.
