OTR presents The 5th Birthday tickets and listings

It is safe to say that over the last 5 years, Off the Rails or OTR, has captivated the imagination of clubbers from all over by staging explosive events brimming with originality, and showcasing some of the biggest names in the business whilst picking up unprecedented support along an epic journey. Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to present to youOTRs 5th BIRTHDAY.

Headlining proceedings, and making his highly anticipated return to the Plug decks, is OTR favourite, SEAN TYAS. 2006 was an epic year for Tyas, where he was thrust into the limelight after winning the Spinnin Records remix competition for his version of Sander van Doorns track Punkd. This was followed by what is arguably one of the biggest trance originals to grace clubland, Lift. Since then, he has been one of the most prominent figures amongst the trance calendarreleasing a barrage of relentless sounds and playing the biggest events in countries on every continent. Achieving a career high of 46 in DJ Mags Top 100 poll, Tyas weekly Tytanium Sessions makes essential listening and continues to go from strength to strength where in mid-2011; the 100th show was celebrated in style. Seans euphoric style and obvious passion for the music is more than apparent as he delivers show stopping performances this will be a comeback set not to be missed!

Next up and making his OTR debut is man of the moment ØRJAN NILSEN. Continuous hard work and a flair for production have given us tracks like La Guitarra, Go Fast!, Between The Rays and more recently the massive Viking! The summer of 2011 saw the release of his debut artist album In My Opinion, which has created a hype around Ørjan with industry heavyweights like Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, & Markus Schulz. Infact Ørjan has been a frequent flyer in the A State Of Trance compilation series being featured almost every year since 2006. As a DJ Ørjan is known for his ability to get the crowd fired up, and armed with an arsenal of chunky, energetic beats it is now finally time for ØRJAN NILSEN to show you what the buzz is all about!

MENNO DE JONG, Dutch based DJ and producing extraordinaire, is another act making a long overdue a return to OTR. 2011 was a massive year for Menno, including the release of his recent vocal hit Place in the Sun as well as a quite unique Menno Solo event which saw the big man (literally!) playing an uninterrupted 10 hour marathon set on a beach in the Netherlands, taking clubbers through a journey of the past, present and future sounds of his illustrious career. All this, as well as being label founder of Intuition Recordings, he is truly the complete package. Needless to say, this man knows how to celebrate!

Last, but by no means least, a DJ/Producer that needs no introduction amongst the OTR faithful, making his return to Sheffield by popular demand, we give you BRYAN KEARNEY. Bryan was there to celebrate the 1st ever birthday back in 2008 so it was only fitting that we had him back for this milestone birthday event. The last 12 months has seen the continuation of Kearneys ascent up the dance music ladder with performances right across the globe and in particular his residency at UK superclub Passion at The Emporium. His releases Ridiculous and Backbreaker both topped the charts on Trackitdown.net and made heavy waves in the Beatport Trance Top 100. He was requested by Egyptian trance sensations Aly & Fila to remix their forthcoming remixed album package and he provided the official anthem for Eurofest Mexico in the shape of Stealth Bomber. Completing the soundtrack to the birthday merriments are OTRs very own resident DJs, dynamic duo HIDDENAGENDA and MIKE BEAUMONT.
