/ / ALEX CELLER / /

Alexs music has a style which is energetic and intense, a tech house/techno sound full of swing, complex rhythms & deep basslines and a style which is aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Always keeping the quality levels high and choosing not to release music too frequently, the resulting demand has seen Alex continue his associations with Area Remote and Cecille, as well Tuning Spork, Freak n Chic, on Lauhauss Soweso label (as Steller).

A Greek national by right but a Londoner by choice, Alexs distinctive DJ style hints towards an obsessive attitude to crate-digging. As a true dance music believer, he remains a vinyl fanatic and is equally at home whether DJing in the main room of clubbing hotspots like Fabric, Space, Amnesia, Trouw and Studio Martin or more intimate spots like Barcelonas Macarena, the Underground in Ibiza and Watergate in Berlin.

This versatility and dedication to upholding values passed down stand him out as a talent that should burn bright for a generation.

And if you thought all this sounded too good to be true, wait until you couple him with his long standing partner in crime...

/ / ANTHEA / /

Her keen sense of mood and groove, and sleekly funk-driven productions have seen fledgling efforts debuted on key labels Freak nChic, Cecille, Supplement-Facts, Supernature and Tuningspork.

These days, she has developed a distinctive style very much her own somewhere lodged between house and techno; always deep, tribal and bassline fuelled. Word of her sleek and stylistically funk-driven sound has not only landed her a coveted Ibiza Voice podcast, but steadily spread across Europe.

Her long held love of the studio clearly shows in her collaborations with close friend Alex Celler, and with Werner Niedermeier as JC Freaks. Her alliance with the former shows more than a little musical chemistry between the two the hit Caedmon Loop stormed dance floors to become one of Ibizas best-loved anthems of 2009, whilst work with the latter has supplied several classy EPs on labels such as Phonica, Mojuba and offshoot Wandering proving that (if we were in any doubt!) here is a lady who knows her craft.

Anthea's latest track on Desolat with accomplice Guti caused quite a stir, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAeRwFJrB8A).

/ / SAM WALLACE / /

Since before he can remember, Sam has been making music and touching on a wide variety of genres. The last 5 years have seen him put hand to rock, hip-hop, grime, dubstep and drum & bass, but it was not until 2009 when he happened to meet two like-minded DJ / producers that he was introduced to underground house music and fell in love with the four-to-the-floor beats and big basslines.

It was after his relocation to Leeds that Sam really got to work and started taking his house and techno seriously, going to 2-3 house nights a week and being influenced by one of the best and most respected scenes in the UK. Late nights and early mornings in the studio and networking in various Leeds nightclubs quickly attracted the attention of Love Not Money, Luke Pompey's quickly rising digital label. His EP on LNM is due to hit the virtual shelves very soon, and includes a remix from Noir Music's latest discovery, Hot Since 82. Releases on various other labels will be announced in the coming months, so watch this space.

Steve Lawler's prodigy Darius Syrossian has truly taken Sam under his wing, playing his tracks out all over the country and recently finishing his set before DJ Sneak at the world famous Sankeys in Manchester with one of Sam's latest tracks. Now armed with a residency at one of Leeds' leading house/techno events, Teknicolor, the future is looking very, very bright for this young lad. Expect huge things over 2012, this is truly his year but don't take it from us, head over to his Soundcloud page (soundcloud.com/samwallace) or get yourself down to Mint Club on a Thursday and see what the fuss is all about.
