Mini Cine Young Film Festival will be Lancashire's premier mini film festival programmed by young people for young people. The Young Programmers have come up with the theme of dreams and this mini-fest is sure to keep you awake and buzzing with a full programme of great youth shorts, features and filmmakers talks to appeal to all ages.

The Young Programmers group meet every week to learn about, talk about, programme and watch films. The project culminates in the Mini Cine Young Film Festival. The group have contributed to its production and programming.
Young Programmers is a film literacy project delivered to 14-19 year olds in Lancashire by They Eat Culture in partnership with FACT in Liverpool and funded by BFI, Creative England and National Lottery funds.

CPD Film Literacy workshop

As an accompanying part of the project, They Eat Culture are holding a CPD day on Friday 2nd March for teachers and youth workers in Lancashire to explore how film can be used as a tool in cultural literacy.
