A storm of a soiree in Prestons humble teacup we, For No Reason, are here to celebrate our second birthday. But by no means are we a greedy two year old, scoffing up our birthday cake and crying for more presents. Instead, we are giving you the most ridiculous and spectacular line up yet. Come along, blow out our candles and listen to our special soundtrack of live bands and today’s most credible DJs.

Jamie Jones (Fabric, Crosstown Rebels, Freak N Chic)

Hailed by Mixmag as ‘the future star of techno’, Jamie Jones blends an edgy and groove based mix of deep house and tech sounds perfect for the birthday bonanza extravaganza.


KeToLoCo DJs (Back2Basics)

KeToLoCo has fast become a clubbing institution since their initial parties in a grubby Leeds basement became UK’s answer to DC10.


Clark Kent (Kaluki, Sankeys)

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s one of the North West’s finest house DJ’s. Never fails to captivate a dancefloor and will most definitely be granting a few birthday wishes.


Liam Rielly (For No Reason)

FNR resident and one of Preston's most in demand DJs, Liam is a firm favourite to break out of the city and into the UK underground. His driving sets of deep tech house have been ecstatic highlights of our two year history.

Andy Nicholson (Arctic Monkeys) B2B James O’Hara

An original member of the band that sky rocketed to success, Mr Nicolson is now excelling as a DJ. Don’t miss out on a rare opportunity to witness the man in action as he plays back to back with Threads legend O’Hara.


Gash DJ’s (Ibiza Rocks, Gash Digital)

Following their hectic summer of performances alongside some of the worlds finest acts at Ibiza Rocks we are happy to welcome them back for their first Preston performance of 2008.


Downfall Of Paris – Live

Studio wiz Alan Smythe of Arctic Monkeys and Reverend and the Maker production fame has recently bought this Sheffield band on board for his latest groundbreaking musical voyage. If his previous production magic is anything to go by these guys are en route to big things.


Hostage (Gash Digital)

Hostage has fast cemented his reputation as one of the most talked about Scottish producers of recent years. Past remixes have included the likes of Cold War Kids and The Hives.

Beats of Rage is the Preston party that has embraced the head on collision of rave culture and guitars and made them best of buddies. Get friendly with their resident extraordinaire as his beats whip up a dancefloor frenzy.


NoLife – Live (For No Reason)

The latest addition to FNR’s hot list of residents, this duo’s unique live sets are bass and distorted guitar driven slices of energetic excellence.
