Feel And Radio 1 proudly present Radio 1’s Official Aftershow Party
Taking place in the old theatre surroundings of PR1 nightclub, Preston, Feel return with undoubtedly a line up that is set to deliver the now legendary party vibe that party goers have become both accustomed to and demanded from the North West’s most decorated night of debauchery.
Headlining the event is a trio of djs that are amongst the biggest names in dance music – leaders of the old school and pioneers of the new breed. Radio 1’s head honcho of dance and the man behind the biggest dance radio show in the world, Pete Tong will be broadcasting his Radio 1 show live from the night. This will be the first time that Pete Tong will have ever played a club set in Preston.
Joining him behind the decks is a pair of djs that are set to explode this year – Simian Mobile Disco. To coincide with their debut live tour and release of the album Attack Decay Sustain Release the newest residents of the worlds number 1 club – Fabric, SMD will be showcasing some of their album tracks, in one of very few dates they will be playing in the North this year.
Finally, Radio 1’s Annie Mac completes the trio of headline acts. After joining the Radio 1 stable nearly three years ago, Annie has been causing waves through out the dance scene, with her ability to showcase the most cutting edge and upfront tracks on both her radio show, and her now legendary dj sets. This lady certainly knows how to create the party vibe!
Maintaining the Feel ‘tradition’ in the main room, Feel resident, and without a doubt the crowd’s favourite, George Thompson will be standing over proceedings. Expect the usual chants of “Georgey”, as he reminds us all how special his tie is with the Feel massive.
Last, but by no means least, rising star and local talent Juke O’Hagen will be warming the crowd up with his vast range of diversity that have created such a stir clubs over the last 12months.
Over in the backroom Feel residents Matt Bell and Chris Da Mentalist will be joined by Mark Kovich and a very special guest. We are keeping our special guest a secret at the moment, as we leave one last surprise up our sleeves till the night. But rest assured, it will be worth the wait, as we show our diversity and willingness to satisfy the musical tastes of every party reveller.
