Professor Green Concert 3/12/11
Overall rating: 5

Last night was amazing!!!!

Professor Green was amazing , best concert by far I have ever been to :)

The venue was great and the atmosphere was out of this world, the ticket price was good and even though Rizzle Kicks couldn't be there the other acts that were there were just as good and didn't disappoint.

Much love to professor Green will so go see him again and hopefully will be at 53degrees beucase it was super, although hope it doesn't rain net time!

It was a shame because it was so quiet on the night there just was not enough people to create a good atmosphere and many of the djs got cancelled due to the lack of people that attended

bit too pop for me...but still really good to dance to. had a really good night, as did everyone i met. i'm not a big fan of the venue, tiny bar, bad lay out and over priced alcohol.

Goodgreef Xtra Hard in the Wild Wild North West
Overall rating: 4

Great night and excellent choons all night long.

They need to address security in this place. If the feel the need to carry out a full search prior to admittance then they need more security people to carry them out. Half an hour queue is not acceptable to assess 60 people's entry. My advice is to get there early as they wont change this anytime soon.

Saw my first bit of trouble in 2 years but security didn't arrive until it had petered out. No security watching the dance floor or if they were they chose not to intervene. They did pick the 2 guys up a couple of mins later and throw them out of the venue after the fight (same door with 2 mins apart). I pity the guy who took the beating as he may have had a welcome committee.

All this aside, and the rubbish dance floor (either slippery when wet or sticky vicky as it dried), I love Goodgreef and will always recommend their nights as it is all about the music. Please move venues though GG.

Classic Eddie
Overall rating: 3

Well Goodgreef makes it to 10 part1. Only the 2nd time Ive made it to 53 Degrees and only 1 reason I made the effort simply a classics set by Eddie no to be missed. Arrived little later then planned and managed to get in on time for Adams set after a straight forward entry into the club spent time queuing to use the cloakroom and get a lanyard (£5 poor & expensive in comparison to most in my collection). As I spent most of the night in the main room the atmosphere was in general good if not spectacular.
The venue its self is a little spread out with a nice backroom were some Goodgreef legends played and a strange intimate location for the hardcore room though the flooring seemed a little unsafe to rave on till I think!!!
Back in the main room the dance floor was busy and Eddie played a blinding set of classic bosh simply toped off for me by a favourite track called Genetic. Followed by a solid if not spectacular set by JOC but closed with plenty of Energy by one of the rising stars of the Goodgreef stable Jordan Suckley this event for me was only ever about Eddie and therefore his set made this a top night for me. I Agree the dance floor felt like it had glue stuck to it and general cleaning and tidying of the club was non existent and the pricing for tickets and drinks have being better. In the past Goodgreef birthdays have being held in various locations with stronger line-ups but if its all about the music then this night was carried by the DJs if your after the complete package you would probably have left feeling a little let down for a celebration of one of Dance musics premier clubbing brands.

Goodgreef 10th Birthday Part 1 @ 53 Degrees
Overall rating: 3.5

Would watch Eddie Halliwell anywhere regardless of the venue. And travelled over from Holland for 1 night to see him in action for my girlfriends birthday.

I agree there was an obvious amount of people on drugs especially some of the people on stage behind the dj's!! But it's a dance event and that has to be expected.
The music and the highly priced vodka and red bull are the only drugs I require to have a great night.

I bought 2 VIP tickets but I would never do so again, no queue jump to enter or to buy drinks as was supposed to be the reason for the more expensive tickets, we ended up missing 30 minutes of Adam Sheridan's set as the "VIP" queue was taking 10 times longer than the regular one.

Was also supposed to receive a free lanyard with set times etc but was made to pay for 2 and that annoyed the hell out of me at the start of my night.

I had the opposite problem regarding the floor, I felt like I had glue on my shoes it was so sticky but we had a great night regardless.

Goodgreef 10th Birthday Part 1 @ 53 Degrees
Overall rating: 3

I had a great night but not impressed with the venue hence the lack of recommendation.

Music was great but some artist using almost exactly the same set as Creamfields so marked down.

The venue was of a good size but the dance floor in the 1st floor Atrium was inadequate and down right treacherous. I dont know if the whole of the dance floor was the same but they felt like ceramic bathroom tiles and were extremely slippy. I was like dancing on ice as they where wet from the sweat and drink spilt in the room. There felt like little or no aircon in this room too. If there was then it wasnt good enough for the amount of people in the room. Also the lack of clear signing to the upper room was weak considering the size of the place. Downstairs the air con was ok up until 3am when it was blatent that they had turned it off because the temperature rose dramatically and was umbearable by twenty past.

I didn't spend any money but did hear people complain about the price of the drinks.

Atmosphere was ok but not as good as I would normally expect at a goodgreef night. Then again it only takes a few inconsiderate idiots to bring that down.

I doubt I would return to the venue again mainly because of the floors. To dance to dance music you need a dance floor not an ice rink.

Amazing night!

This was my first Pendulum DJ Set, I'd only ever seen them live before, and it was incredible. The crowd was almost as mental as the live crowds! I'm a bit bruised now... The atmosphere was really good, everyone was obviously having a good time. All the DJs were awesome but El Hornet and Verse blew them all out the water! The whole night was amazing but my highlight was meeting Ben and Paul of Pendulum after their set, they give really good hugs! :D

Supported by The Blitz Kids and Population Four. Mega amazing gig.
Great venue, 53 Degrees never ceases to dissapoint. The Blitz Kids where amazing, their atmosphere and interaction with the crowd was great. Then The Blackout, great crowd interation, great music, made a great atmosphere. The mosh pits where intense and I noticed on Sean Smith twitter that he thurrly enjoyed the gig and the venue.

I highly reccomend and look forward to seeing the lads again!

I'm not going to say too much as i'm personally involved with the night and was hoping people could of left a review for some feedback!

Personally I thought the night was rocking, everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves and the venue looked excellent.

Overall rating: 4.5

Wasn't sure how the change of venue of this great regular night would work given the previous two rooms at Coda could seperate the more dancy electo from the more industrial goth. Needn't have worried though, the now all together music fitted pretty well and seemed to please everyone, plus the light-show now available on the dancefloor was a big bonus for atmosphere. Roll on 10th Oct for the next one :-)
