Location: Community Centre
Lostwithiel will hold its 8th Charity Beer Festival in the Community Centre on Saturday 19th March 2011, starting at 11:00am. The Festival will open with around 20 different beers from around the country and Six Nations rugby will be on the TV in the afternoon and early evening. There will be live music and dancing from 8:00pm until 11:00pm (more details to follow nearer the date). Admission will cost £4 before 5:00pm, and £6 thereafter (the same as last year), and the price of all real ale beers will be no more than £2.50 a pint.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Lostwithiel, all proceeds will be donated to charity. Previous festivals have been lots of fun and people from outside the town will be made very welcome. Re-entrance will be allowed into the hall throughout the day, so why not take the opportunity to enjoy a meal in one of the towns excellent restaurants or pubs, or visit some of the antique and gift shops for which the town is rightly famous.
