Lineup and details for 9th Lostwithiel Charity Beer Festival on Saturday 17th March 2012
The 9th Annual Lostwithiel Charity Beer Festival will take place on Saturday 17th March 2012 at the Lostwithiel Community Centre from 11:00am. to 11:00pm.
There will be the usual wide range of at least 20 real ales available to suit all tastes, including many familiar and not-so-familiar brews, both locally-made and from further afield.
During the day a large screen will be showing all three RBS Six Nations Rugby matches live from 12:30pm, including the highlight of the St Patricks Day programme: England v Ireland at 5:00pm, and also a selection of carnival photos and black & white silent movies before the first match kicks off.
The event will climax with live music provided by local band, Cold Feet, covering Rock and Pop through the Generations, and a disco filling in the gaps.
Entrance charges are £5.00 until 5:00pm and £6.00 thereafter. Beer prices remain at last years prices of £2.50 per pint. Wine and soft drinks will also be available.
The Lostwithiel Charity Beer Festival has raised several thousands of pounds in the eight years it has been running with around £2,700 being raised and distributed to worthy causes last year alone.
