BROADWAY COMES TO ROCHDALE

A spectacular song and dance show featuring music from some of the best-loved Broadway and West End shows will light up the Gracie Fields Theatre in Rochdale on Sunday July 12.

Top touring group Back To Broadway are bringing their musical show to the theatre in an event that will raise funds for the Francis House Hospice which helps families of very sick children.

The show features hit after hit with a whistle-stop tour through Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, Phantom Of The Opera, West Side Story, Blood Brothers, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease and many others.

Hollyoaks television star Helen Noble from Wigan, who was Abby Davies in the series, and former Coronation Street actress and local girl Andrea Lynette-Young, who both have numerous TV and theatre credits, will be singing and dancing in the show.

Andrea is currently in the UK touring production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Graham Tudor, who played Eddie in the West End production of Mamma Mia and the lead role of Joseph in the UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, will peform the male parts along with James Wolstenholme, whose theatre credits include the UK tour of Rainbow Live!

The fifth member of the group is Vikki Jones, one of the stars of the West End production of Whistle Down the Wind.

There will be a special appearance during the evening by children from the Tread Musical Theatre Summer School in Liverpool. Children who have been training in musical theatre will have a role during the show in a spectacular finale to the first half.
