The Arcane were raised in Nottingham on a playground diet of grunge and Britpop. A decade later they formed a band with a sound that straddles the transatlantic gap between these two era-defining scenes whilst remaining true to their local roots in the city.

Dirty Kanvus who are a psychedelic acid rock jam band from Nottigham. They create a fascinating musical landscape that borrows from The Doors, steals from White Stripes and makes up the rest out of fiery rock riffs, spaced out jams and twisted poetry. The band are building a strong local buzz in Nottingham and have been featured on BBC Nottingham. Dirty Kanvus' recent EP titled “Lets Make Our Getaway” was produced by The Animal Farm.

The Fideal Effect are a Derby band who are slowly gaining a large following. Their set features great use of dynamics throughout showing that a big sound and interesting arrangements can be created with just the one guitarist, providing that the guitarist knows how to put effects to the best of use and this guy does.

The Enthused formed in January '08 from the remaining members of Nuneaton band, E-Mission. They now play as a 3-piece. They play energetic alternative rock reminiscent of Jimmy Eat World and Foo Fighters, also retaining elements of their older sound derived from punk influences such as Green Day.
