The Music House Acoustic Session listings

This week's edition of the weekly acoustic session is hosted by Norwich musician Andrew Taylor. Live sets come from Swingball, Jon Hart, Howard Burton, Tony Brook, Bernie Abraham and Jack Pout.

Swingball are a a madcap five-piece playing swing, eastern european and french tunes and they are amazing, I promise you!:) They'll have you smiling and maybe even dancing.

Jon Hart is a quality writer of really catchy and emotive songs. See him here with his three piece band consisting of guitar, double bass and percussion.

Howard Burton always brings along a very fine selection of bluegrass musicians. If you liked the film 'O'Brother Where Art Thou' you'll love this!

Entering our list at the last minute is a travelling musician by the name of Tony Brook. Tony is a touring blues musician from Alabama and has opened for the likes of Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, Steve Young and many, many others so expect some class.

Bernie Abraham makes his Music House debut with some deft song-writing, maybe Norwich's answer to Elliot Smith, come and find out for yourself.

Opening will be another class song-writer from our buzzing scene, Jack Pout.

Entry is by voluntary contribution and the bar charges social club prices, which is cheap. The Music House is like two venues in one, with intimate live music in one room and a beautiful medieval bar in the other, the best of both worlds! So all in all an inexpensive night out with some quality live music thrown in to boot:)
