Lineup and details for Latitude 09 on Thursday 16th July 2009
For the most up-to-date information about this event, please go here: Latitude Festival Guide
Latitude isn't just about music, but has a full spectrum of art including film, comedy, theatre, cabaret, dance, poetry, literature and art together for a fun-filled, cultural adventure by the sea.
The dates for the fourth Latitude are confirmed as Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July 2009, with the festival opening it's gates on Thursday 16th July for some limited non-musical entertainment.
There are no acts confirmed yet for 2009.
'Early bird' weekend tickets were on sale priced at £130 but have sold out. Lockers are available for £14.50 with built in mobile charging facilities using car cigarette lighter fittings. To buy campervan tickets, click here.
Now in its fourth year Latitude has four stages dedicated to showcasing an eclectic line-up of established bands and budding new acts, with a stage nestled in a clearing in the woods, and another beside a lake. Returning to the festival this year will be BAFTA, The Royal Court Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company and Sadler's Wells to name but a few.
There's a dedicated Children's Arena as diverse as the rest of the festival, where kids can enjoy books, art, music, theatre, heaps of participation and fun, from circus skills to handmade crafts to an appreciation of the woodland setting and the nature within it.
There will be a dedicated family campsite, for families with children under 13 (who can attend for FREE) within the public camping area and also a family campervan area within family camping.
When buying tickets for you and children under 13 you must select 'PRE-SALE UNRESERVED (FAMILY) TICKETS' then choose the number of adults attending and the number of children under 13 attending. This ensures you will be sent a 'Family Camping Pass' with your tickets when they are sent out.
Latitude happens in the grounds of the historic Henham Park Estate in Suffolk, and positioned near the most easterly English coastline between Southwold and Aldeburgh. Henham has been in the Rous family line since 1544.
