Lineup and details for Make + Mend Market (formerly Star + Shadow Market) on Sunday 19th July 2009

A wonderful aladdins cave of a market with 20 stalls showcasing new artistic talent and work from emerging designers alongside2md hand and vintage traders.

The market has been running for 18 months on a bi-monthly basis. The great news is this will now be once a month, alternating monthly between the Star and Shadow Cinema in Ouseburn and the Grainger Arcade in Newcastle City Centre.

The event was called the Star and Shadow Market but has now changed its name to the Make and Mend Market.

The first event with the new name will be on the 19th July in it's usual haunt of the Star and Shadow Cinema and will be run alongside the Ouseburn Community Festival. There will be a diverse mix of second hand, art and handmade goods covering everything from fashion, music, books and homewares. The bar will be opening serving hot and cold drinks and cake.

Entry is free and we may event have some live music.
