party_gal09 Wannabe Offline Points:12 Posts: 3	PARKLIFE 2009 Overall rating: 1.5 i was totally dissappointed about this event, me and a friend went out side the goodgreef to get air and when we tried to get back into it for showtek, the security wasnt lettin anyone else in, we were gettin crushed in the queue, we ended up going into inside out tent, where eddie haliwell was playin and the music and lights went out half way thru his set? the toilets was a joke, u were waitin in the queue for atleast 40/50 mins. i will not attend this event again and will advise my friends not too either.

Eddie was brilliant and rocked the place, never got to see Showtek but heard them from outside tent and it was amazingly banging and base was cracking the tent pegs!!! Fine if u drinking alcohol but I was drinking bottles of water, so thought it was too dear. Ended up buying water from the food stalls as it was much cheaper. We bought VIP tickets cause of the toilets and the VIP bar bit once it got busy u had to stand in the queue like everyone else, needs more than 3 toilets for an event of it's size. Music was great though, weather was fantastic and the atomsphere was electric. Probably would go again!!

AnnaMDG Newbie Offline Points:276 Posts: 12	Parklife Overall rating: 3 DJ's were awesome. Very concerned about the heavy handed police presence though. I attend many similar events and Creamfields every year, I have never experience officers walking through the dance tents on patrol - totally not required! Their presence should be suportive but not intrusive I found the 'swat team' style tactics only served to provoke the idiots who attended into acting like bigger idiots. Had the DJ's not been so good it would have spoilt the event for me, not sure if I'd go again.
