HotchPotch Manchester 12.02.2012 listings

HotchPotch Manchester is a unique monthly performance art and multi-media event held at the Thirsty Scholar and Attic, organised to promote some of and most diverse talent within Manchester. It is for everyone, who is interested in improving and developing knowledge about visual art, live performance, film and music. You can learn new skills, talk about own ideas or just have fun.

There are short film screenings, exhibitions, live music, great guests and discussions. This is just a little bit of what is waiting there for you. It is a great promotion for artists and opportunity to take in some experiences.

Since October of 2011, we have showcased independent film makers, painters, performance artist, musicians and given the opportunity for our audience to ask the artists questions about them and their art.

In 2012 we are expanding into the realms of comedy, poetry, photography, theatre, instrument building workshops and circus performance and all completely free of charge to the public.

We feel HotchPotch Manchester gives a much platform of all kinds of budding and established artists as well as offering audiences something completely fresh, eclectic and exciting. It is also a fantastic networking tool to find some new collaborations, contacts and get in touch with the creative industry.

We are keen to promote various Artists and extend the event to having more live performances, exhibitions, etc. We are open to talk about your art and ideas how we could organise your time at the future HotchPotches.
