RELAPSE is one year old and we're all very much looking forward to the celebrations ahead! We have invited DnB legend Sappo to grace the decks with an upfront hour long set as well as some of the finest DJs and emcees that the North West has to offer! Expect nothing but the finest tunes in DnB(!), Jungle, Dubstep and Hip Hop from start to finish.

SAPPO: This heavyweight selector has been smashing raves up and down the country and worldwide for a very long time and he is the only DJ to have ever had a 4 hour dnb show on BBC1Xtra. As well as DJing, Sappo has sold over 250,000 records on labels such as V, Formation, World Dance, Emotif and his own Advisory label. This man will be bringing an upfront energetic set, which is not to be missed.

ROLAZ: This bad man selector has been DJing for over 15 years, he got to the final in the DMC Team Championship back in 2001 and when you see him live, you will see he has picked up a lot of skills on his travels. Rolaz is making a name for himself with his production and is currently signed to Wonked Records. He has promised RELAPSE a special Jungle bonanza to help the birthday celebrations go off in style.

DARKA: Having torn the place apart the last time he played at RELAPSE, we had to invite Darka back to bring the bombs in what is set to be a fast and ferocious set. To keep the intensity to a maximum Darka (with his upfront tune selection) with be joined by Eddie P and Frisko on the microphone. These three will guarantee an energetic performance from start to finish!

SUB:CONSCIOUS (aka HAVOK): RELAPSE owner and rapid fire selector Sub:Conscious will be wanting to celebrate the night in style and will be bringing a weighty deep and dirty set to guarantee dancefloor destruction. You have been warned!

iLLTONE B2B RUNES: These brothers played a B2B at the first RELAPSE and smashed it then, so weve got them lined up to do so again! Theyve been tearing down raves around the North West individually and together for quite some years, so they know exactly how to destroy a dancefloor. Expect deep rollers, hard heavy beats and nasty sub bass from these two Relapse residents playing a special 75 minute set!

ALGORITHMIC B2B NOEL EDGE Algorithmic has played (and smashed!) every single RELAPSE and it was only a matter of time before we got him on a B2B set with Noel Edge! They will be bringing an eclectic hip hop set that might delve into darker territory! With a deep knowledge of Hip-Hop and DJing, their tune selection, mixing and scratching ability is undoubtedly impressive, so expect big things! A rare occasion when youll see a DJ emceeing over his own set, Noel Edge will be switching from deck to microphone with ease from start to finish.

McDUBBIN: If nasty, disgusting, up front dubstep is your thing, then McDubbin is the DJ for you! He and his emcee Zykklon know exactly how to get a crowd absolutely pumped. Dubstep heads do not want to miss out on this one! McDubbin has been busy spending and cannot wait to bring you some vinyl gems!

DUPPY: Head Honcho of Open Plan and Bitlord, RELAPSE is looking forward to having Duppy come and drop an eclectic dubstep mix. Knowing the genre inside and out you can expect a thought-out set from Duppy on his RELAPSE debut.

HUNTA: Hunta always brings a seamless DnB set with plenty of energy. From liquid to jump-up and most places in-between Hunta will take you on a journey with emcees Mo and Chegga B. Expect a fast and ferocious set!

EDDIE P + FRISKO The base invaders! These two have been smashing the rave around Manchester and the North West for well over 5 years. Two of the most recognised emcees in the Manchester rave scene, these two can flip any style, but their energetic and speedy bars compliment drum and bass perfectly. This duo has started competing in Dont Flop where they slay opponents with their comedy stylings. Watch out for some big bars courtesy of the base invaders!

ZYKKLON This emcee started off in grime many years ago and now gets the ravers buzzing for his energetic, lyrical bars over dubstep, dnb and hip hop. Another emcee who has been smashing the OMG raves, he is definitely one to watch out for.

RILEY B + ROB P This duo from SOS bring the energy in their up front sets. Over jump-up these two excel as they have the pace and stamina to keep the energy of the music rolling at a breakneck speed. Because of the amount of sets they have emceed together, these two have built up a chemistry that sees them as one of the most respected rave duos around Manchester.

MITCH Mitch knows how to keep a crowd hungry for more with his unique style of lyricism. He has been appearing at raves for what seems like a very long time in Manchester and around the North West and knows exactly how to keep a set rolling from start to finish.

GNI This emcee can spit bars over hip hop, dubstep and dnb and does so all over Manchester and the North West on a regular basis. An OMG favourite, he knows exactly how to hype a crowd and keep them hyped for the night with his rapid fire, intelligent lyrics.

NOEL EDGE A man of many skills, he DJd(!) at Soundwave festival in Croatia as a part of the Taste The Diffrence collective. This emcee brings the head-nodding, thought provocative, tongue-in-cheek lyrics throughout his performances.

MO + CHEGGA B This duo are two of the biggest up-and-coming emcees in the Manchester dnb scene! What they lack in experience, they blatantly make up for in energy and enthusiasm. Their different styles compliment one another and they always entertain in their enjoyable sets.
