Infamous German duo Modeselektor have been at the forefront of experimental techno and electronica for almost a decade, their acclaimed albums featuring guest spots from the likes of Thom Yorke and Maximo park. Their excellent and varied taste, from techno to hip hop, dubstep and electro, was showcased on their recent Body Language mix for Get Physical, so it is no surprise that they have put such an interesting array of acts on for their Modeselektion night at WHP2010. Headlining on the night with their stunning live show with Apparat as their Moderat incarnation, they will also be Djing, as will fellow Berlin dwellers and revered Berghain residents Marcel Dettman and Ben Klock, performing a special back to back set.
Book ending different generations, Warp veteran Clark and Warp newcomer Hudson Mohawke will both be perfoming live on the night, and five of the most interesting young talents from the worlds of techno and dubstep will be dropping sets; Detroit’s Kyle Hall, WHP residents Jamie XX and Joy Orbison, SBTRKT, and Untold.
