Metropolis celebrate their 8th birthday in their typical style, with some of the biggest drum and bass names in the world joined by leading lights from the dubstep scene. Since their first parties in Manchester back 2002, they have gone on to become one of the biggest and most respected brands in drum and bass today, with massive events all over the UK and the world. They have hosted performances from every major name on the scene, as well as supporting as a whole host of up and coming artists. 

Sub Focus will be headlining with his massive live show, fresh from releasing his critically acclaimed album on Ram Records. He is joined by two of the previous generation’s forefathers, Reprazent’s Roni Size and Real Playaz boss DJ Hype. DJ Yoda will be performing his groundbreaking and eclectic A/V show, scratching videos as well as music, and Brighton’s Friction, Breakage and Xample and Lomax will all be dropping typically heavy sets. Original members of the dubstep scene N-Type and Hatcha will be going back to back for a special set, joined by London’s Deadboy and Roska. Metropolis main man Prophecy will of course be gracing the decks, as will residents The Steppahs.
