POP UP CINEMA EVENT

The Ethiopian town that's home to the world's greatest runners

Its an Olympic year, heres an inspirational reminder of what its all about - a rare chance to see the brilliant film Town of Runners

Described as the sleeper hit of this Olympic year this is a film is about an athletic club in a remote Ethiopian village which has produced a series of Olympic and World champions, winning a staggering number of Olympic medals, all trained by one man.

Manchester based childrens charity Retrak are hosting three Pop Up Cinema screenings of the film to raise funds and awareness of their project in Ethiopia, which helps street children find their potential and realise their worth, ultimately finding a viable alternative to life on the street.

Tickets are just £5 with all proceeds from the screening going to support street children in Ethiopia through Manchester-based charity, Retrak.

Screenings are at The Black Lion on Chapel Street on the 13th & 14th July 2012.
