Lineup and details for DIRTY DIRTY UNDERGROUND on Friday 30th March 2012
It's been a long time coming and after months of preparation we can finally announce the beginnings of Dirty Dirty's Manchester outlet, DIRTY DIRTY UNDERGROUND! And what better venue to commence the journey than none other than one of Manchester's top underground venues, newly refurbished and ready to go, THE ATTIC!
With a no nonsense music policy Dirty Dirty Underground plans to bring you music from all sides of electronica, be it banging house, pounding progressive or twisted tech - and with this in mind we've put together a line up what we hope will set the trend for future events!
Your special guests for the evening are....
. SICK ELEKTRIK (STATE RECORDS/WHARTONE RECORDS)
http://www.sickelektrik.com/
DJ/Producers Ben O'Connor & Jon Verde play music they love for people to dance without dictating to the crowd. Effortlessly marrying genres from deep to progressive, its all House Music.
Taking influences from a varied and eclectic past, Sick Elektrik combine to produce quality, underground, electronic music right across the board from hands up House to groovy, chugging Tech House and Techno. Its not just production that Sick Elektrik are quickly gaining a reputation for either. Clubbers have also seen the pair raise the roof at various events and festivals from the Wickerman festival in Scotland to the Residents Terrace at Creamfields 2 years in a row! This along with summers of travelling the UK and Europe have seen the duo play on the same bill as Pete Tong, ATFC, Steve Lawler and more. Sick Elektrik are set apart as a highly technical act with an infectious enthusiasm that cannot be ignored.
. BASSJOCKEYS (SANKEYS/RUDE)
https://www.facebook.com/BassJockeys
Daz and James are well known for dominating the Manchester DJ scene having played in all but a few of the clubs there as well as most through out the north west. Best know for destroying dancefloors regardless of how light the promotor/club manager may tell them to play. If you can't have a good rave to it, BassJockeys won't play it. Get the Red Bulls in and prepare to stomp to the best uplifting electo and progressive house anthems around. Think Laidback Luke conceiving with Alesso and you're close to the BassJockey child.
WILL KERR (CONVERSION)
Will Kerr is making waves in the Manchester scene having come 2nd in the 'This is Sankeys Dj Competition' and winning the opportunity to play out in Ibiza this Summer. Will plays progressive house, right through to full on trance, with a focus on high energy, melodic sets. Playing at venues such as Sankeys, The Warehouse Project, Avici White, Spektrum, Sound Control and more Will is no stranger to the decks and alongside his DJ'ing he is also owner and resident of Manchester's top house/trance brand, conversion!
. THE VOSE BROTHERS (DEEP DOWN/ALL FUNKED UP)
